off the beaten path things to do in las vegas

Las Vegas does not need a real reason to stand out. Whether it is the nightlife or the showgirls, there is plenty to do here. What happens here will stay here. It is quite famous for all this. The city is famous for its noble culture and has some stunning museums to offer. While hotels like South Point Las Vegas stand out, it is the little things that tourist guides often skip out on that make it wonderful:

  1. Bodies: The Exhibition

Being a museum that has a lot of dead bodies may very well sound like a duplicate version of Catacombs. It sounds quite morbid, but this exhibition is the typical morgue beauty you need. It opened in the year 2005, and it has only been inside Luxor Hotel since the year 2009. Here, you can visit and get quite a close look at the different organs. For instance, a smoker’s lungs. However, if anything gets too disturbing for you, then you always have the option to skip the exhibit completely.

  2. Erotic Heritage Museum

The Erotic Heritage Museum is located on the Industrial Road which is situated across the Trump Hotel. It is quite close to South Point Las Vegas too. It opened to the public in the year 2008. The purple and pink neon sign here lights up the dark and invites all the visitors to the museum which helps pay tribute to the erotica history. This is to show this beautiful art in all forms and how they help in impacting society today.

  3. Titanic Exhibition

Titanic is situated next to Bodies: The Exhibition. Titanic also allows the visitors to look inside the infamous ocean construction. Here in, you can go deep into the story and figure out people whose lives have been lost on this shop. Move inside and visit the family friendly exhibit which takes only about an hour or two hours, so you get to experience how it is undertaking a voyage.

  4. The Mob Museum

Well, we are talking of the city that inspired Chow’s character in Hangover. Additionally, it has proven to be the plot for many crimes. But, lesser-known fact? It is one of the most organized cities in terms of crime and for law enforcement. The Mob Museum is one of a kind in USA. It is located downtown and is also in the courthouse which was a post office earlier. This museum stretches over three stories and has really helped with modern law enforcement, especially with Las Vegas. The best thing about it? It is perhaps the only museum dedicated to such a topic in the US.

The likes of South Point in Las Vegas and Bellagio await to give you the best experience ever. However, for a little more exploration to see the different facets of this city, you can pick the above-mentioned pointers. Stroll on the off beaten path and enjoy Vegas to the fullest.
